Terms of Service
How our service works, what we charge for, and who is responsible for what.

1. What Atlas Source does
Atlas Source ("we", "us") is a Canadian procurement (sourcing) service for businesses. On your behalf, we find suppliers, send you quotes with the total delivered cost, negotiate, carry out the supplier and goods checks we agree with you, organise delivery and follow your order until it arrives.
We are a service provider. We do not sell goods, we never own the goods you buy, and we are not a party to the sale between you and the supplier.
2. Our fee
Our service fee is agreed with you in writing before we start searching. It covers our service only: searching, comparing, negotiating, the agreed checks, and order follow-up. It does not include the price of the goods, shipping, duties, taxes or any third-party costs, which are shown separately in each quote.
Our current plans are:
- Essential: $149 to start, plus 8% of the order value for each order you place through our service. The $149 is credited toward the 8%.
- Hands-on: $599 to start, plus 10% of the order value for each order you place through our service.
- Supplier check only: $149 per supplier.
"Order value" means the price of the goods, before shipping, duties and taxes. The start fee covers the search and the quotes. Third-party costs we arrange for you, such as an inspector's fee, are passed on at cost and approved by you first. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes. The plan, fee and payment dates for your request are confirmed in writing before we start. The first 20-minute meeting is free and does not commit you to anything.
3. You pay the supplier directly
You buy the goods from the supplier and pay the supplier directly. We never receive or hold your money for goods. The purchase contract, payment terms, warranty and returns for the goods are between you and the supplier.
4. Quotes
We aim to send 2–3 quotes for each request, each showing the total delivered cost as known at the time: product, shipping and expected duties and taxes. Quotes are based on information from suppliers and carriers. Prices, availability, exchange rates, duties and lead times can change, and final amounts are set by the supplier, the carrier and the authorities.
5. Supplier and goods checks
Before you commit, we can check a supplier's business licence, references and samples, and arrange a pre-shipment inspection. Supplier samples are available on request: the supplier ships them directly to you, and you pay for the samples and their shipping. The checks for your request are agreed with you in writing. We report what we find honestly, but we do not guarantee a supplier's products or performance beyond the checks we agreed to carry out.
6. Who is responsible for the goods
The supplier is responsible for the goods: their quality, safety, compliance, labelling and warranty. If goods are late, damaged or not as agreed, we will help you raise the issue with the supplier and the carrier, but any refund, replacement or claim is between you and them.
7. Customs, legal and other advice
We are not a customs broker. We do not give legal, customs, tax or immigration advice. When your order needs customs clearance, we refer you to a licensed customs broker. You are responsible for making sure the goods can be imported, sold and used lawfully for your purposes; we can point out questions to check, but the decision is yours.
8. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate information about what you need, your delivery address and your business, and to approve quotes, samples, artwork and orders in writing.
9. Confidentiality and your designs
We keep the information you share with us confidential, including your product ideas, designs, specifications, prices and supplier details. We share only what a supplier or carrier needs to quote on or fulfil your order, and we never sell or publish it. On request, we will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before you share your designs. Your designs, artwork and brand remain yours.
10. Stopping a request
You or we can stop work on a request at any time by telling the other in writing. Fees already due for work already done, including the start fee once the search has begun and the fee on orders you have already placed, remain payable. We do not charge a percentage on orders you do not place.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any request is limited to the service fee you paid us for that request. We are not liable for the goods themselves, or for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or business interruption.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version. The terms in effect when your fee is agreed apply to that request.
